There are so many great courses to play in and around Energetica. The landscape of the North East of Scotland provides world renowned championship links and some of the best parkland courses that you'll find in the country.
The areas courses have tested the worlds best with Royal Aberdeen hosting many championships over the years including the 2005 Senior British Open, the 2011 Walker Cup and the 2014 AAM Scottish Open won by Ryder Cup star Justin Rose. In 2015 Murcar Links welcomed some of the worlds best golfers to the area as venue to the European Tour Saltire Energy Paul Lawrie Matchplay.
The latest addition to the area Trump International Golf Links is the self proclaimed ‘Worlds Greatest Golf Course’ and has been voted Golfweek's No1 GB&I Modern Course as well as the No4 Course in Scotland by Golf World & Todays Golfer in 2014.
In a remote and beautiful area of rolling and massive sand dunes, a few miles to the north-east of Aberdeen lies a brooding seaside links like no other. The Cruden Bay Golf Club is a part of the very fabric of the golfing folklore of Scotland and a club with a long history. Cruden Bay's St Olaf Course is a nine-hole course but a true links course and represents Scottish golf at its best.

McDonald Golf Club, Ellon is set in the heart of Aberdeenshire countryside, 16 miles north of Aberdeen. A scenic eighteen hole golf course that provides a memorable golfing experience for all standards of golfer. The parkland course is named after its benefactor Sir James McDonald who, in 1926, gifted the old woodlands to the people of Ellon.

Murcar Links is one of Scotland’s true links championship courses. Established in 1909 to the design of Archie Simpson, with later refinements made in the 1930s by the celebrated golf course designer James Braid, it is a great test of golf and should be on the ‘must play’ list of any golf connoisseur visiting Aberdeen. Murcar Links frequently features in the Top 100 courses in the UK and recently became the host venue of the European Tour event 'The Saltire Energy Paul Lawrie Matchplay', with Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat winning the inaugural event in 2015.

Nestling in the dunes above the point where the River Ugie and the North Sea lays Peterhead Golf Club, one of the finest links courses to be found in Scotland. The club was founded in 1841 and is the 18th oldest golf club in the world. This is an original links course characterised by the natural contours of the land. Some would say it is one of the most testing golf venues in Scotland.

In the league table of golf course antiquity, the Royal Aberdeen Golf Club stands at number six and by rights should be known to a much wider audience around the world than it already is. Only a mile from the centre of the city of Aberdeen the club was founded as the Society of Golfers at Aberdeen in 1780 and is one of the most testing and spectacular of all the great links course of Scotland. It has hosted many championships over the years including the 2005 Senior British Open, the 2011 Walker Cup and the 2014 AAM Scottish Open won by Ryder Cup star Justin Rose.

First opened in 1979 and extended to 18 holes in 1996 Longside is a short yet charming parkland course on the outskirts of the village, half an hour from Trump International and 30 miles from Royal Aberdeen.

Newmachar Golf Club, on the outskirts of Aberdeen, has hosted European tour and international events. Designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Alliss, Hawkshill is a challenging course with natural features of pine and birch woodlands that line the narrow fairways and surround well bunkered greens. Water hazards feature on seven holes making Hawkshill one of the most demanding courses in Scotland. The Swailend course is slightly less demanding than the Hawkshill course, it is nevertheless an excellent test for golfers of all standards.
